CRYSTAL KELLEY, Director
Crystal Kelley has been a filmmaker and cinematographer for over 15 years. She studied theatre arts at Otterbein University’s Department of Theatre & Dance. Crystal continued her education, earning her M.F.A at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts with an emphasis in Cinematography. Crystal currently resides in Los Angeles, California, working as a Director of Photography for television, live events, documentaries, and short and feature-length films.
Her most notable accomplishments are shooting the feature films The Workout Room (2017) and Love the Skin You Are In (2024). She also has lensed the documentaries Mobilizing Mozambique (2013), which follows a grassroots organization promoting AIDS Awareness in Africa, and I Dream A World (2024), spotlighting foster youth. Her films have screened at numerous festivals across the country, including Breakfast Salad (2024), which won the Best Cinematography Award at the Austin Micro Film Festival. She is a proud member of the International Cinematographers Guild Local 600 and a licensed remote pilot with the FAA. Crystal was recently honored by her Alma Mater, Otterbein University for the Professional Achievement Award.
